That’s what best describes Rev. Paul Thangiah , a man whose every heartbeat is synced with the rhythm of God’s Kingdom , echoing the anthem of the heavenly mission to save the lost.

He is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Full Gospel Assembly of God Church, one of India's mega-churches with more 40,000 members. 

In 1982, Rev. Paul Thangiah began Full Gospel Assembly of God Church with just three souls. From humble beginnings, a mighty legacy began. From modest beginnings to a colossal congregation! Full Gospel Assembly of God Church in Bangalore now embraces over 40,000 attendees weekly, spanning two branches and nine satellite online church locations. Its online broadcast extends its reach to 40+ countries worldwide.

Rev. Paul Thangiah has always been a steadfast champion for the importance and power of prayer. FGAG Church conducts Daily Revival Prayer, kindling spiritual flames since July 2nd, 2017. Powered by his passion for prayer, in March 2023, he orchestrated a historic All India Interdenominational All Night Prayer in India’s capital of New Delhi. Three historic  days, with over 25,000 people each night, uniting in intercession for the nation of India. 

A visionary leader, he is filled with a deep desire to touch every corner of India for Jesus, he has conducted numerous power conferences, prayer penetration meetings, crusades and prayer drives, being a relentless encourager and brilliant teacher for countless pastors and leaders. Launching 'Passion India' in 2022: a 9,000 km journey across India, he sparked a fresh fire among pastors, leaders, and churches nationwide. Reaching beyond borders, he has ministered in 80+ countries, leaving an indelible mark. He is an architect of faith, having built over 600 churches , across India and the SAARC nations.

He serves as the chairman of the Central District of South India Assemblies of God, overseeing a network of more than 3,000 churches. He was elected General Superintendent of the All India Assemblies of God on June 15th, 2022. In November 2022, he was entrusted with the role of General Secretary of the state of Karnataka by the All India Human Rights Council, allowing him to advocate for justice and human rights. In October 2023, he was appointed a Member of the World Assemblies of God, Executive Council.

Dr. Sheba Thangiah is married to Rev. Paul Thangiah.

She is the President of the All India Women’s Ministry of the All India Assemblies of God.

Anointed Pastor, Certified Counsellor, and Accomplished Educative Professional, setting the standard in every role she undertakes.

She holds a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Theology and Counselling, SAIACS, a Post Graduate Certificate in Clinical Pastoral Counselling, CCC, Vellore, a Certificate in Mediation, Options Inc. and a Doctorate in Ministry / Counselling, SAIACS

She serves as a Zonal Pastor at Full Gospel Assembly of God Church and also heads the Counseling Department at the church, providing comprehensive pre-marital and post-marital counseling. Furthermore, she extends counseling support to married couples navigating through challenging phases in their relationships. Her impact on families has been monumental.

With over three decades of unwavering dedication in ministry, she champions the empowerment of women, with a special focus on those in the pivotal role of pastor's wives.

She has journeyed far and wide across the state of Karnataka, conducting numerous impactful training seminars. Her mission: equip and strengthen pastors' wives, widows of pastors, and women in ministry through specialized skills and Bible knowledge. 

Challenges never halt her; they fuel her forward.

During the Covid lockdown, she personally led the charge to fortify Pastor's wives amid the global crisis. 30 Pastor's wives earned a diploma through the globally recognized India College of Ministry—all accomplished online!

Her zeal extends beyond the walls of the church. She conducted numerous online sessions addressing stress management for the medical community, specifically catering to doctors and nurses grappling with unprecedented challenges during the COVID era.

Apart from individual counseling sessions, she is invited by multinational corporations, and conducts seminars, providing invaluable insights on mastering work pressure and stress at the workplace.

She also leads the Grace Children’s Academy—an exceptional preschool with  top-notch facilities and an expert teaching team.

Together, they stride with a fiery passion, fueled by an unquenchable desire to expand God's kingdom and touch hearts and lives for the glory of God, and to see India being washed by the redeeming Blood of Jesus Christ.
