About FGAG Church

In 1982, Pastor Paul Thangiah embarked on a transformative journey that would become the enduring passion and heartbeat of his life—the establishment of the Full Gospel Assembly of God Church (FGAG). From its humble beginnings with only three individuals, FGAG Church has burgeoned into a thriving congregation boasting more than 40,000 members today.

Originating in a modest rented space in Indiranagar, Bangalore, the church witnessed unprecedented growth, prompting the need to seek larger accommodations. During the rent negotiation, the owner expressed concern about noise, stating, "We do not want any sound in this place." Pastor Paul responded, “We find peace in expressing ourselves aloud as a full-fledged Pentecostal Church.” Initially met with reluctance, the owner eventually developed a deep appreciation for the church services, coming to cherish and love them from the comfort of his home on the 100 feet main road in Indiranagar.

As the focus on evangelism intensified, the church services experienced a significant surge in attendance, leading to a consistent overflow in each service. At this juncture, the Lord impressed upon Pastor Paul’s heart to search for a new building with the distinct purpose of acquiring one for FGAG Church. Led by the Lord, Mr. and Mrs. Col John gifted a piece of land. On this very land, FGAG Church, Indiranagar, was constructed, with God providing at every step.

December 1995 marked a significant milestone for FGAG, as we celebrated the dedication of the church in the esteemed presence of Dr. D.G.S. Dhinakaran, Dr. Naomi Dowdy, and other cherished friends. Following that, the church surged forward, emphasizing three pillars for its exponential growth: prayer, evangelism, and a dedicated focus on the Word.

Fueled by an unwavering passion for souls, Rev. Paul Thangiah has traveled across India, conducting transformative Power Conferences and leading fire-filled Prayer Penetration meetings and Prayer Drives.  He inspired, encouraged, and strengthened pastors and leaders, urging them to march forward with a singular mission: expanding the Kingdom of God.

FGAG Church has Daily Revival Prayer to intercede for India and the nations of the world. March 2023 witnessed Rev. Paul Thangiah orchestrating the monumental All India Interdenominational All-Night Prayer in New Delhi, drawing over 25,000 fervent souls each night.
